Block Of The Week: Bedrock

Hey Hey Hey! Welcome back to Block Of The Week! This week will be my last non-scheduled post! So, let's get into this!

Bedrock Revision 2.png

This is bedrock. Recognize it? This is the unbreakable block that spawns on the bottom of the world. This is one of the very few unbreakable blocks, aside from End Portal Frames. This block is generated naturally at Y level -60 and seals up the void, making you unable to die with the void.

This block can be obtained in the creative inventory and it can be (miraculously) broken in creative mode! Bedrock is one of the oldest blocks in the game, outliving even Water & Lava. This block was added on the 20th day of minecraft's development! It's that old.

Okay, onto the other stuff. As you can tell, it's week 10 and the school holidays are fast approaching. I will be on a road trip for the holidays, so I will be scheduling a block of the week post to come along every wednesday at 9:50 AM! Fun! Please stick around for this.. Thanks for coming along, and I'll see you later!

    1. Hey Kade! Thanks for the nice comment! I really do like minecraft alot. It's an art form more than a game. Minecraft over fortnite any day! Even though fortnite has more content, minecraft will never die!

      Thanks, from Martin.

  2. hello martin, I think your idea for the "block of the week" shows your persistence to write a blog every week! I think you also should have talked about the MineCraft bedrock edition added in in version 1.2

    1. Hey Liam! Thanks for the nice comment! I'm actually a very persistent person and I usually can't sleep at night if I have something that isn't finished.. The bedrock edition is an entirely new version of minecraft, and it'd take an entire huge blog post to cover all of the differences!

      Thanks, Martin.
