Heyo! Welcome back to block of the week! This week, we're tackling the command block and its 3 functional modes. Regular, Chain, and Repeating. We'll start off with regular, cause it's the easiest one to use on to explain the basis of command blocks.
The command block allows the user to execute commands and summon blocks when powered with a redstone signal, or if it's in unconditional mode. With this amazing little block, you can stuff in so many commands that it could replicate an entire modpack! The regular mode of command block only executes the commands once.
Next up, the chain command block. This one works the same as the regular, but can be strung together with eachother by placing them with the arrow pointing towards the one that will be activated by the first command block. This can be used to make entire mods and even more!
Finally, the repeating command block. This command block is the same as the other two, but it repeats over and over and over forever! Or, until unpowered.. This can be used to make chicken farms, diamond spawners, fountains of dragon eggs, and so many other things! the list is endless! All 3 of these command blocks can only be obtained in creative mode by running the command (/give @p minecraft:command_block). Thanks for coming over to block of the week, and I'll see you later!
